"Through interaction with my students and parents I have discovered that students with exceptionalities needs extend beyond the education they receive throughout the school year. I discovered that during the summer there are very few facilities that provide assistance for Students with Exceptionalities that meet their unique social and academic needs. In order to meet those needs I have established the SOAR Achievement Learning Center." - Samantha Ward
Meet SOAR's President!
Samantha Ward is a Special Education teacher in the Garland Independent School District. She has been teaching students with exceptionalities for 5 years.
"I have the privilege of witnessing these bright young minds transform and blossom throughout the school year. I realize that the transformation may be minimal compared to typical peers, however they are giant steps for our unique learners."

She is an Entrepreneur and Mentor For Women, Inspiring them to Be-You-T-Ful. Meaning Embrace You, Love You and BE You, as this is what makes us Beautiful. Monetta lives in Garland Tx, is a Widow and Mom of a Special Needs Daughter who she knows is God's Anointed.
Alma Doggett | Coordinator
Alma Doggett holds an Associate and Business Degrees in Business and Management as well as a Master’s Degree in Theology and Biblical Studies. She was ordained a licensed Chaplain for the State of Texas, and is continuing to spread God’s word as a Chaplain through voluntary services for local hospitals and food pantries
Tiffany Gardner | Secretary
Tiffany Gardner is a Certified Medical Office Manager with 15 years of healthcare leadership experience. As a mother of children who are on the Autism Spectrum, she understands what parents face once receiving a new diagnosis and she is passionate about advocating and teaching parents to advocate for themselves. For the past 8 years she has worked in Pediatrics where she serves as a resource for parents of children with special needs or as she likes to call it… different abilities.

Diana is the founder of Dominion Keepers Ministry and worked as an itinerant speaker. Diana is the mother three and grandmother of eight, now attending Living Word Christian Church Garland she continues to be humbled by God's grace on her life.
